The Ayr & District Flower show includes a range of Floral, Vegetable, photography and Junior Classes as well as new classes which include; Honey, Baking, Handicrafts, Preserves, and Flower Arranging.
Why not be part of the show and enter?
During these uncertain times due to COVID-19, the committee is keeping a close watch on the government’s recommendations and are putting in place variations of how the show could run on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th August 2020 as advertised.
At this stage, the Ayr & District Flower Show is focussed on providing a safe and enjoyable environment for its competitors, visitors, committee and volunteers and this will be at the front of any decision made in the future.
Right now, we are hoping to have a show in 2020, but will be constantly reassessing the situation and will issue more information in late May.
The schedule is available below, however we will be taking no entries until more information is available in late May.
The committee of Ayr & District Flower Show decided that in 2017 the winners of their respected classes would receive an engraved piece of glassware to celebrate their achievement. This incentive is there to persuade you that you may as well enter those vegetables or the flower you have been growing for the last couple of years because you could be walking away with something similar to the image on the right.
